About the Award
The Fourth Plinth Schools Award 2007 invited children aged 7-12 to use the empty plinth in Trafalgar Square as inspiration to create a design, or model, of an artwork for the public realm.
This is a new initiative designed to mirror the creative process of professional, high-profile, international artists commissioned to make new temporary artworks for the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square.
